John Graham

John Graham is partner and founder of Graham, Smith and Partners International Tax Counsel. He has specialised in international taxation for over 30 years and his clients range from large multinationals and banks to medium-sized businesses and international executives.

John Graham is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisors (NOB), a member of the Dutch Institute of Registered Accountants and a Chartered Accountant. He speaks regularly at international courses and seminars and publishes on tax matters in Dutch and International journals. He is the former Chairman of International Tax Committee of one of the 10 largest accounting networks, is a board member of the Transnational Taxation Network (TTN) and a founding member of the International Specialist Group (ITSG).

Besides his work John Graham is a board member of one of the oldest rowing clubs in the Netherlands and treasurer of the Asko Schönberg Ensemble.

John speaks Dutch, English, German, French and Italian (basic).

Academic Background:

  • Master of Fiscal Economics, University of Amsterdam, cum laude (1988);
  • Bachelor of Commerce, University of Birmingham, accounting with foreign trade and languages (1975).
